Active Elders Project

Activities and social interaction

A project to the engage the local Black and Minority Ethnic Residents through weekly sessions,

which will encourage active participation.  Annual social gathering, day trips

 

Monday 12.00 - 4.00 pm,  Tuesday 12.00 - 4.00 pm

Every other Thursday - 12.00 - 4.00  - Men only dominoes sessions

Funding was received from Big Lottery. Many thanks to Big Lottery for their support

Rukhsana Khan Foundation Food Bank (Pakistan Women Welfare Association)

Every Saturday - 10.00 - 12.00

They aim to provide basis food for people in need.

Anyone who is a resident of Waltham Forest can provide three of the folloiwing information can benefit:

  • Proof of I.D.

  • Proof of Address

With either one of the following:

  • Food Voucher

  • Proof of Job Seekers

  • Proof of Income Support

DONATIONS APPRECIATED

Breakfast is now provided from 9.30 pm

Food Bank

A food bank started at the William Morris Commnity Centre, on Tuesday, 30th August 2016 for the Afro Caribbean Elders Association (ACEA).

In conjuction with Fareshare. The food items are donated by Tesco.
